Here are my  projects.  I made two baby cards using the Quietfire Baby Doily Card electronic cutting file and the Elizabeth Craft Designs Baby Love dies.  This is a quick and easy card to cut and give.  Just ungroup the elements in the digital file, spread them apart and cut in coordinating colours.  I went with a traditional blue and pink, and added a teeny tiny little pink glitter heart to the front of the onesie.

Here's the component parts......

I added some hand stitching with DMC embroidery thread to the pink card.  In hindsight I think I would have used a contrasting or darker colour of thread to increase its visibility but I love the texture a litle hand stitching adds to a project.

Here's the Baby Love die set.  Isn't it cute?  Use the words separately or together.

Here is my project:
I've never been a big fan of christmas in July and this bear stole my heart!
Only a few  pieces makes this beautiful 3D ornament.

Edges of the snowflake were distressed to add flakiness
and some puffy snow and red ink to their hat.

I couldn't make just one!

From the stencil card series (5x7)
The stencil is sized down to an ATC (21/2 x 3 1/2)

CURLED FLOWER STENCIL BIRTHDAY CARD

Hello all!

Did you see the new stencil cards? Suzanne already designed quite a few of them. You can mix and match them. You can use the stencil and the cutout (like I did). Robyn showed us all the different ways to use the digital file in her last blog post (Ginko Stencil Card).

I used the "Curled Flower Stencil Birthday Card" digital file for both cards. You can find it here.

On the mat

Once you have cut all elements it´s really just putting them together. If you want to use the "negative" cut like I did, use the stencil for help to get everything in the right position.

What do you think? Which one do you prefer?

Have a happy and sunny week.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GIFT CARD BOX

Hello all!
Kora here with a Happy Birthday Gift Card Box made for a young lady turning seven years.

You can find the digital cutting file here:

Choose the colors of your choice and let the cutting machine do the rest.
all cut

Suzanne made a video tutorial on how to assemble the box. You can find it here.

I added lots and lots of rhinestones because the birthday girl loves glitter and shimmering stuff. The more the better.

I also quilled the first initial of the girl's name to accompany the card.

Have a happy. crafting week!
