Hearts Window Card/

 Hi Y'all!
Robyn here sharing what happens when everything goes wrong and you just keep going.
I had so much fun with the snowflake window card I asked Suzanne to do hearts!
On the Mat
I had the perfect patterned paper for the card base- and then I punched a hole in it by mistake, so I put a sticker over it, and decided to make it into a shaker card.
The Working Mat
Creating the window frame with acetate, I ran out of the long skinny foam tape and had to piece one long side with 1/8" pop up squares.
Then I put the window on forgetting to add the shaker bits!
Then the light box failed! Still haven't figured that one out, and no matter how I tried, I can't get the lighting to share with you the better parts of this failed( to me) project.
I shared it with my kids, and they fought over it- so there you have it!
They love it when things go wrong.
Be kind to yourselves- keep going- toss it if you must, tho there is a good chance someone will love it!

Supplies:
  • Silhouette Design Store file- Hearts Window Card - #341008
  • Patterned paper
  • Foam Tape
  • Acetate for shaker window
  • Confetti bits for the shaker effect
  • Ribbon

Ornate Frame

Welcome to 2021 everyone!

Happy New Year! Let´s all hope this one will be different from 2020 in so many ways.

I had some time off over Christmas and used it for crafting. Here are three cards I made using digital files and dies.

You can find the digital file here.

Dies I used can be found here:

Snowflake Window Card/ Let it snow

 Hey Y'all!
Happy New Year!
Robyn here with the only kind of s**w I like.
Three easy pieces!
The Snowflake Window Card File is FREE
with the purchase of any other Suzanne Cannon File.
On the Mat
The file is 5x7" and I scaled it down to A2- 4 1/4 x5 1/2
because I like that size and that is the joy of digital cutting.
A2 sized
The sentiment was also scaled to fit the card.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow

Glitter can be  added to the snowflakes and sentiments with any adhesive that dries tacky.
I used Tombow mono multi liquid glue.
Put some glue on the cuts, mush around with your fingers and let it dry for a minute then cover in glitter.
Use an old cover sheet from double sided adhesive to press the glitter on, let it sit and burnish the glitter for maximum shine.

Supplies:
What might you see inside your window?

Stay tuned for an announcement of a fun and inspiring challenge in the group.

Holly Cookie Box- Merry Christmas

 Hey Y'all!
Robyn here
with last minute gift projects that keep on giving.
Give this cookie box to a baking friend and see if it returns to you with cookies!

On the Mat
Left over pieces created a gift card ATC to go with it.

Stamp set of 6

The box is one easy piece and I added some stickles and glossy accents for the holly and berries.

Through the years we all may be together,
If the fates allow.
Until then we'll have to mutter through somehow!
So have yourself a merry little Christmas now.

Assembling the Treat Bowl

Hey there Artlets! Meet the Quietfire Treat Bowls.  It's amazing how much they can hold.

Here is a quicky tutorial on how to assemble the Treat Bowls!  It's really easy, but it helps to have a quick overview!  If you want to find the files on my profile at Silhouette*, use the filter and search for "bowl".

Watch this video - or if you're receiving this as an email update, view the video on YouTube here: https://youtu.be/asaZrRD62Do

Thanks for watching!  Happy creating!
