Best Sister

Hello digital friends!

Kora here again with a birthday card. It was my sister's birthday at the beginning of September, so I needed a card. The file comes with "best sister" or "best brother" :-) You can find the digital cutting file here

 Best Sister cut

I wanted to add some extra effect to the card so I decided on embossing the best sister lettering with red embossing powder.

The best sister lettering now has a wonderful shimmering look.

I chose a patterned paper (different shades of red) to mat the lettering. And of course some rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Birthday Banner Card

Hello digital cutting friends!
My kids seem to be invited to a birthday party every other week. I like to personalize cards, so I decided on using the QFD Birthday Banner Monogram Font. I printed the initial of the birthday boy´s name, coloured the banner and did a scan and cut.

I decided on a blue background to go with a yellow card using heavy cardstock.

To make it look more cheery and happy I added ballons
Make sure to cut many different colours and sizes.

Adhere the ballons to the left and the right side of the card. You may also add some other embellishments like rhinestones or pearls et voilá you have a finished personalized birthday card.

Happy crafting!

Tangled Heart Tote and Tag

Hi all! Kora here.
It´s my turn again. I needed a little gift box to give to a friend for her birthday. As a Mum I am always in some hurry, so I needed a simple and fast project. The Tangled Heart Tote and Tag is an easy project and is done quickly.

First you must pick the colours of your choice. I decided on plain pink (for the tote body and the tag base) and patterned paper (roses) for the tote layers and the tag layer.

If you use patterned paper make sure that you put the paper on the cutting mat in the right position (or flip the elements)  Otherwise, as in my case, you will end up with the roses being upside down (one can only learn from experience).

Once you have cut all elements, it´s time to assemble them. It´s kind of self-explaining really.

You can find a tutorial on how to assemble the tote here.

When finished use some raffia to tie the tag to the tote. Now you can adhere some rhinestones or beads or whatever else you want to use to decorate it. Fill with chocolate and or a little gift.

Thanks for stopping by. Happy crafting!
