Assembling the Illuminated Gift Card Boxes

What a unique way to give a gift card! You might recognize the basic structure of the Illuminated Gift Card Boxes from the much smaller (and many!) Gift Card Boxes I've created. This is the handsome grown up version with lights!  It has a slightly different assembly so make sure to watch the video tutorial at least once!

Mix and match these with the other Quietfire Illuminated Gift Card Boxes to create fun home décor items!  The completed size of the box is approximately 6.5”high x 7”wide x 2.25”deep. This easy-to-assemble layered box has a simple pocket at the back to hold a standard size gift card.

To illuminate the project, I just use cheap lights I got from Amazon - more info in the tutorial! https://amzn.to/3GcGQl5

Assembling the Quietfire 3D Pocket Cards

(These designs are being release over a number of weeks, so watch for them!)

The 3D Pocket Card is great way to give a gift card! Use the pocket for a gift card or make a special wish card. They’d even make great placecards! These cards fold flat for mailing and/or storage and fit in a envelope designed for a standard 5x7" card.

Use the nameplate if you wish or leave it off - you have lots of options with these cheery cards.

Assembling the Quietfire Halloween 2023 Treat Boxes

I just love designing for Halloween!  This year a spent a day figuring out how to create an easy locking bottom to a box that works without adhesive! Strained my brain but I managed to pull it off....

The Quietfire lanterns have collapsible bases, but this is different.  The great thing about both designs is that they can fold flat for shipping and storage.

Here is this week's collection. Each design tells a little story, from the kitty going out on its first Halloween to the witch whose crash ended with her head-down in the treats!

These are super simple to make and some of them use only three colours of cardstock, so they go together quickly - to see just how quickly, watch the video!

Assembling the Quietfire Halloween Side Step Cards

Oh, there is so much fun going on here!  You'll want the whole bundle!

I've created side step cards before, but never done a video tutorial for them. You can find the other side step cards on my Silhouette store - they come in lots of designs, not just Halloween.

They are pretty straightforward, but it helps to see how the card base is folded.  After that, it's just layering on the fun stuff!

You can find these on my Silhouette Store https://bit.ly/2oAR9e6 and if you want this whole Halloween bundle, check them out at Shop.LoriWhitlock.com (you might have to wait a day till the bundle is available there)

Here is a little video tutorial to help you along.  If you're receiving this as an email update, CLICK HERE to view the tutorial on YouTube.

Assembling the Quietfire Shoebox

Still keeping in the Barbie theme, we have a Pretty in Pink Shoebox.  Now I had to look up if shoe box was one or two words and it said that both are correct.  So whatever comes out of my fingers at any particular time is right! Whew!

So here is a sweet little shoebox - it's very simple to cut, but it helps to see it assembled.  Follow along on the video tutorial below and you'll be all set!

Want to dress it up for a boy?  Find your favourite logo and copy it on the top, all in “guy” colours.

Fill it with treats or doll shoes or ?

You can find the cutting file at my Silhouette store: https://bit.ly/2oAR9e6  (Filter my profile for "shoebox" if you have a problem.)

Assembling the Quietfire Cake Slices

The Quietfire Cake Slices are fun and easy projects that you can fill with treats or gifts or use as table ornaments.  I haven't checked yet, but 10 boxes should make a full cake!
