Birdie Thank You Card

Hello, everyone!

It's Nancy back today with a new digital project share!

Spring is just around the corner!
In honour of that, I had to share this wonderful card file with you!

This is the Birdie Thank You Card.

Isn't that adorable?
It's so much fun to put together!
Not only does it make a fabulous card, all put together like this,
but there are so many elements to take out and use on other projects.
The layered labels are wonderful for stamping and decorating.
The scrolled branch would be so pretty on other cards or on layouts.
Also, the "Thank You" could be used in so many other ways!

I opted to make my card base from printed paper.
Then I just adhered everything else in place in a pleasing manner.
I added a little piece of red cardstock on the back of the birdhouse,
so that the heart would show red.
Then I used foam tape to adhere the birdhouse on the top of the scrolled branch.
Everything else was adhered in place flat.

Star Quilt Scrapbook Layout

Hello, Connie Nichol here today with a 12x12 scrapbook layout featuring the Star Quilt Block cutting file.  It's available in the Silhouette Design store here.

Here's an example of how the Star Quilt Block card would look. I didn't use all of the components and I super sized my base square to 5.5" to fit a quadrant of a scrapbook page.  The 'stars' are cut out of Simple Stories patterned paper.

If you like the look of quilt blocks, this is a perfect cut file for you!  As you can see, it makes a very pretty card, or can make a striking scrapbook layout. It is quick to put together because there aren't many pieces, and it is a great way to use up different bits of patterned paper.

Thanks for stopping by and happy scrapbooking!

Supplies Used:

Star quilt block cutting file designed by Suzanne Cannon

Silhouette Cameo cutting machine
Simple Stories patterned paper and stickers
Bazzill cardstock
US Artquest Perfect Paper Adhesive
Sakura white pen

Making the Quietfire Fun Flowers

Meet the Quietfire Fun flowers! These flowers are so pretty and simple - they aren't supposed to look like any real flower, but they're fun and so cheery to add to a gift or just have on a table or window ledge.

The Fun Flowers are available on my Silhouette site here: http://bit.ly/2oAR9e6 (if you make a purchase by using this link, I *might* get a small commission!)

You make them by rolling the petal strip. Watch this short video for the details.  Happy creating!
